This is a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria Police Package purchased new in 2006 by the City of Milford DE. This vehicle has been a marked patrol vehicle during its entire service. The vehicle was assigned to the patrol supervisors and later rotated to the K9 Division where it has been used until it was retired. Original Door Panels are in the trunk of the vehicle and not photographed. The Police Markings have been removed from the vehicle as well as the K9 Equipment. The vehicle interior is dirty and there is an an obvious dog odor. The rear seat, which had been removed is replaced and is in new condition. The rear door panels are included but have been removed and replaced with metal/plastic covers which obstruct the door latch and window controls. Hardware for these mechanisms is still inside the door panel and believed to be intact. Exterior shows dents, dings, scratches, and areas where the paint is peeling from the body. There is no disabling damage. The vehicle starts, runs, drives, shifts, and operates normally. Tires are serviceable and all window glass is intact. Brakes work when applied without vibration and/or noise. City Police Vehicles used as Patrol Cars are serviced every 200 hours regardless of mileage. This vehicle has been maintained by the City of Milford Maintenance Division with the exception of major repairs (if any) which are completed by the local Ford Dealership. This vehicle is being sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied. Buyer MUST contact the City of Milford within 3 days of auction close to provide information for transfer of title and anticipated pick up date. Failure to do so will result in the auction being cancelled and the vehicle being re-listed. Vehicle must be removed within 10 days of auction close. Vehicle is available for inspection by appointment, Mon-Fri between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM at 400 NE Front Street, Milford DE. The City of Milford does not finance, does not accept credit cards, and will not end the auction to sell the vehicle privately. The City does not provide chain, rope, tools or assistance loading the vehicle. Buyer must bring whatever is necessary to remove it.
