Here is a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible project car or very good parts car. In my opinion, this car is worthy of restoration, and I would hate to see it parted out. This car starts and runs, and moves under it's own power, but it needs a total restoration. It has a 390 two barrel engine, an automatic transmission, power steering, and AM radio. The car appears to be all original. It needs the drivers side front and rear floor pans, and the passenger side rear floor pan. It is possible they could be patched, please see the pictures. It needs rear quarter panel patches or panels. The trunk floor appears solid. The car has some brakes, and I have driven it up and down my driveway. The car has a clear Maryland title. The odometer shows 70,024, but I have no idea if this is the original mileage or not. Since I do not know the condition of the gas tank or the gas in it, I have the car running off a small substitute gas tank sitting in the engine compartment. The passenger side door is stuck and will not open. All the glass appears to be in good condition. I tried the operation of the power convertible top, and it appears to work fine, as I took it down about half way and brought it back up with no problems. The original convertible top rear window glass is included and it is in good condition. It is laying in the back of the car where the top would store when it is down. I have not had this car up on a lift, but from what I could see laying on the ground and looking under the car, the frame looks fine with no rot, only surface rust you might expect for a car this old.
