For sale is a Scion XD, Release Series "Hot Lava" Model, number 16 of only 2000 produced for 2008. It currently has 85,500 miles. Its a souped up version of the standard XD model with a custom body color, inside and out with orange stitching in the seats to match the color carried into the cabin on the door accents, dash and center console. Inside has a custom stereo with IPOD hook-up. It has a 4-speed automatic transmission and gets 28 MPG around town and 34-38 on the highway depending on cruise speed (mine is 85MPH and I get 34mpg average, 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine. This car has always been maintained appropriately and has the looks to prove it. The car came with TRD tuned suspension and I had changed the wheels and tires last August. I added the Scion TC aluminum wheels and low profile tires Hancook Vetus V2, 215 45 17 91V, it gives the car and even better look and stance, as well as rides a bit stiffer. I have the original steel wheels and wheel covers, but the tires should be replaced on them and they are included in with the car. Also custom is the rear bumper wear guard strip to avoid scratching the rear bumper during loading and unloading the hatch area. There are VERY few scratches on the car and two very small dents (I'd have to point out most of the scratches and two dents because they hard to see). The car seats 4 medium sized adults with decent head room, but can still fit 3 kids in the back seat. The rear seats fold down to make the cargo area bigger; spare included under the cargo floor inside the vehicle (doughnut- used once). Power windows, door locks, mirrors, 2 key pads with remote lock and alarm, front rear and side airbags, premium Pioneer sound system, single disc, . NOTICE- the photos with the key in them, the key is pointing to very small dents, unnoticeable on camera. JUST ONE THING about the car, when I changed over the wheels to the TC low profile wheels, the air pressure sensors weren't calibrated to the higher pressures and the Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) light is lit on the dash. Toyota said they can flash the light and set it for the higher air pressure for $125, about 3 mins worth of work.- It it bothers you, go for it; doesn't bother me. Also this is listed in a local classified and will terminate ebay listing if sold locally. ASKING $10,750.00 Bank or cashier's check, money order, loan check, cash. I still owe some a little money on this so the title would have to be re-issued in your name after sale from Scion/DMV. I just purchased this car a week ago and put 1000 miles on it already driving to upstate NY. The odometer calculates the MPG for you. ( highway 36.7 MPG during the trip). It was a long ride and the seats were comfortable both for driver and passenger. The rear seats slide forward and fold down flat with plenty of room. Cons: Only a few things I would change. Locking glove box, center consol, daytime running head lights, seat heigh adjusters. ( I bought a cushion, no problems). Otherwise, no complaints! Overall review: This is such a great car in every way. If you need a car with room, this is it! I transport medical equipment as part of my job. It's a great on comfort and on gas!
