There are absolutely no delays in power with this performance machine. There is no upper or lower end noise to the engine. The only notable flaw is a small amount of oil seepage from the turbos and the coolant overflow reservoir leaks at the seal. As a result, the check coolant light comes on but the cooling system is fully intact and funtional with no coolant leaks. The engine is a solid 8 out of a 10. The previous owner has changed the timing belt and the engine appears to have been well maintained. TransmissionThe six-speed transmission does an amazing job delivering the biturbo horsepower from the engine to the quattro all wheel drive system. And the result simply put is amazing four season performance and handling. The transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch is stout, yet comfortible. There are no known issues with either the transmission or clutch, a solid 9 out of 10. Wheels, Tires, Brakes, Steering and Suspension Wheels and Tires - The tires are practically new with 80% plus tread life remaining. There is no shake or shimmies or odd road noises. The wheels were newly purchased and are flawless aftermarket peformance alloys. Steering and Suspension - This car handles perfectly! The front end is very tight and the handling is higly responsive with no unusual noises. The steering and suspension work together very nicly and make this performance sports car an absolute blast to drive, especially on country roads. BodyThe body and paint are in above average condition, particularly for the age and mileage. There are noticeable flaws, dings, scratches and fades as pictured, but nothing that really distracts from the sleek S4 appearance. The clearcoat on the hood has a few faded spots and the trunk lid has some scratchs. .InteriorThe interior of the vehicle is in average overall condition. The center arm rest has cracks in the leather and the driver's seat has normal wear and tear that is noticeable. We have done our best to point out every flaw in the pictures but generally speaking the interior is in good condition for the age and mileage. Vehicle Condition Report
Engine
The 2.7L twin-turbo V6 engine, with twin intercoolers, dual overhead cams, five valves per cylinder delivers amazing horsepower even at the low end of the revband. There are absolutely no delays in power with this performance machine. There is no upper or lower end noise to the engine. The only notable flaw is a small amount of oil seepage from the turbos and the coolant overflow reservoir leaks at the seal. As a result, the check coolant light comes on but the cooling system is fully intact and funtional with no coolant leaks. The engine is a solid 8 out of a 10.
The previous owner has changed the timing belt and the engine appears to have been well maintained.
Transmission
The six-speed transmission does an amazing job delivering the biturbo horsepower from the engine to the quattro all wheel drive system. And the result simply put is amazing four season performance and handling. The transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch is stout, yet comfortible. There are no known issues with either the transmission or clutch, a solid 9 out of 10.
Wheels, Tires, Brakes, Steering and Suspension
Wheels and Tires - The tires are practically new with 80% plus tread life remaining. There is no shake or shimmies or odd road noises. The wheels were newly purchased and are flawless aftermarket peformance alloys.
Steering and Suspension - This car handles perfectly! The front end is very tight and the handling is higly responsive with no unusual noises. The steering and suspension work together very nicly and make this performance sports car an absolute blast to drive, especially on country roads.
Body
The body and paint are in above average condition, particularly for the age and mileage. There are noticeable flaws, dings, scratches and fades as pictured, but nothing that really distracts from the sleek S4 appearance. The clearcoat on the hood has a few faded spots and the trunk lid has some scratchs.
.Interior
The interior of the vehicle is in average overall condition. The center arm rest has cracks in the leather and the driver's seat has normal wear and tear that is noticeable. We have done our best to point out every flaw in the pictures but generally speaking the interior is in good condition for the age and mileage.
