The ride in the Taurus is very spacious and comfortable for the driver and all passengers. There is lots of available storage space. This Taurus offers VERY CLEAN front seats and relatively LOW miles along with tons of great power options!All of the power windows, power locks and power mirrors work very well! The driver's seat is power operated (see picture)! There are driver and passenger-side vanity mirrors WITH working lights. The stereo (with CD player!) sounds good. The ceiling of the Taurus is VERY clean. The right amount of power and acceleration make this Taurus pleasurable to drive, and there should be no issues getting up to speed for highway travel.The A/C in this Taurus blows cold quickly. There are no known issues here. There are NO SERVICE LIGHTS on at all in this Ford Taurus. Our service team has recently serviced the sedan and brought it to better-than satisfactory condition. See below for a full report of all repairs! There is a noise when driving over rocks that sounds like a rattle. It does not sound like it's coming from the engine at all, but rather in the front underneath of the dash. My speculation is that there may be eventual service needed on the strut plate, but this is not confirmed. There are NO LIGHTS on at all in this 2001Taurus!!TransmissionThe AUTOMATIC transmission has no issues and shifts very smoothly. There are NO KNOWN ISSUES AT ALL.Wheels, Tires, Steering and SuspensionTires - The tires are in good shape and have well OVER 50% thread life left(see pictures)!Brakes, Steering, Suspension--NO ISSUES HERE. The brakes stop when you need them to. There is no pushing the entire way to the floor. Brakes are tight and work well/better than expected in this Taurus! BodyThe body of this Taurus has multiple scrapes, scratches and scuffs. I have tried to picture each and every blemish with explanatory captions. PLEASE see all pictures when looking for blemishes. The front passenger-side bumper has a semi-large scrape as does the rear bumper. There is a small rust spot (that has been covered fairly well) on the inside door panal of the rear passenger-side door. Again, SEE ALL PICTURES!InteriorThe interior of this Taurus is pretty clean. I would give it a 7/10 on the interior condition, which is pretty good considering the age and mileage of this vehicle. There are only very few, very minor blemishes on the interior. There is one very small burn mark on the back seat. This 2001 Ford Taurus SES starts up without any hesitation. The ride in the Taurus is very spacious and comfortable for the driver and all passengers. There is lots of available storage space. This Taurus offers VERY CLEAN front seats and relatively LOW miles along with tons of great power options!
All of the power windows, power locks and power mirrors work very well! The driver's seat is power operated (see picture)! There are driver and passenger-side vanity mirrors WITH working lights. The stereo (with CD player!) sounds good. The ceiling of the Taurus is VERY clean. The right amount of power and acceleration make this Taurus pleasurable to drive, and there should be no issues getting up to speed for highway travel.
The A/C in this Taurus blows cold quickly. There are no known issues here.
There are NO SERVICE LIGHTS on at all in this Ford Taurus. Our service team has recently serviced the sedan and brought it to better-than satisfactory condition. See below for a full report of all repairs!
There is a noise when driving over rocks that sounds like a rattle. It does not sound like it's coming from the engine at all, but rather in the front underneath of the dash. My speculation is that there may be eventual service needed on the strut plate, but this is not confirmed. None-the-less this does not affect the drivability of this Taurus at all.

Vehicle Condition Report
Engine
The V6 engine runs properly and there are no known issues. There are no loud, unusual engine sounds (noted above the possible strut plate). NO KNOWN ISSUES AT ALL. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. There are NO LIGHTS on at all in this 2001Taurus!!
Transmission
The AUTOMATIC transmission has no issues and shifts very smoothly. There are NO KNOWN ISSUES AT ALL.
Wheels, Tires, Steering and Suspension
Tires - The tires are in good shape and have well OVER 50% thread life left(see pictures)!
Brakes, Steering, Suspension--NO ISSUES HERE. The brakes stop when you need them to. There is no pushing the entire way to the floor. Brakes are tight and work well/better than expected in this Taurus!
Body
The body of this Taurus has multiple scrapes, scratches and scuffs. I have tried to picture each and every blemish with explanatory captions. PLEASE see all pictures when looking for blemishes. The front passenger-side bumper has a semi-large scrape as does the rear bumper. There is a small rust spot (that has been covered fairly well) on the inside door panal of the rear passenger-side door. Again, SEE ALL PICTURES!
Interior
The interior of this Taurus is pretty clean. I would give it a 7/10 on the interior condition, which is pretty good considering the age and mileage of this vehicle. There are only very few, very minor blemishes on the interior. There is one very small burn mark on the back seat. Please see all pictures and their captions for blemish details!
