Vehicle Detail

Up for auction a beautiful 1971 911 E Coupe. This car is in excellent mechanical condition. The numbers matching motor (#6210713) has been professionally rebuilt to 2.7 RS specs using correct factory parts. The rebuild included upgrades such as dilivar heads studs, stainless steel (SSI) heat exchangers and carrera chain tensioners. The MFI pump, injectors and throttle bodies were rebuilt at the same time. The engine has less than 5k miles on it and runs excellent. The transmission shifts perfectly all shifter bushing were recently replaced, one of the best shifting 901 gear boxes I have ever driven. The suspension has been completely rebuilt with polyurethane bushings, the rear torsion bars and spring plates were upgraded to SC units. The car has factory front and rear 15mm anti-sway bars with new bushings. The front brakes have been upgraded to SC units as well. The hydropnematic struts were upgraded to koni units, the rear shocks are koni's as well. The car was originally light ivory but has been completely stripped and repainted linen gray which looks really great on an early car. All needed rust repair was performed when car was repainted. The front and rear hood and bumpers were replaced with fiberglass units. All trim was removed giving the car a very nice clean early hot rod appearance. The car has 16 x 7" fuchs wheels that have been done in a RSR style finish. The tires are Yoko E100 and are in excellent condition. The interior has been partially redone with new carpets, sun visors and Recaro sports seats, that are extremely comfortable and supportive and look terrific. Car was corned balanced and came in at 2170 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas. Also has a new Rennaire A/C unit that works extremely well. Headlights have been upgraded to H4 units. Also installed was a center radiator type oil cooler and a mocal thermostat, motor never runs hot. Car runs and drives fantastic and just like a completely rebuilt early 911 should. It is also quite an excellent performer with upgraded motor and reduction in weight. Paint work is not concours so you won't be crying in your beer when you pick up those inevitable rock chips. This car will bring its new owner many years of back road crusing happiness along with continued strong appreciation. On May-01-12 at 17:54:34 PDT, seller added the following information:Added some interior pics to flikr http://www.flickr.com/photos/pu911/7133861343/in/photostream/On May-02-12 at 18:37:33 PDT, seller added the following information:Added undercarriage pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/pu911/
