LRA Enterprises Presents….. 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme I remember one of the commercials during the TV series “Magnum PI” that would have an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme driving on the beach and splashing into the surf and the person narrating the commercial kept saying “this is not your father’s Oldsmobile”. Regardless what he said, unfortunately Oldsmobile had the reputation of attracting an older buying market. Well with this 1988 Olds Cutlass we offer today, I can 100% guarantee this is not and never will be your Father’s, Grandmother’s or Grandpop’s Olds. This is a true 1 family owned car that was bought originally by the Grandfather and given to his grandson when he got his license. Read on to find out what makes this car so different and so strong. Thank you for visiting. Exterior: The exterior of the car present very good. The car was repainted its original color in the summer of 2004. At that time a VFN bolt on fiberglass hood was installed with a 4 inch cowl. The car does have t-tops which I’m not sure if they leak or not. For the most part the car is pretty solid but does have some rust in the inside of the doors, a little on the rear deck lid and some around the right rear tire. The glass is all clear, the chrome bumpers have been replaced and look great. All the lights work and the wheels and tires are in above average condition. Please ask specific questions if you have them. Interior: The interior for the most part is original for the exception of adding the gauges and cd player. The seats are decent as is the carpet. The headliner is fairly new and the door panels are also in good shape. The dash has some cracks, see the pictures. There is no a/c and the power locks periodically don’t work. In fact, let’s assume they don’t work. Please let me know of more specific questions you may have. Drivetrain: This is where the magic happens. The engine is a 350 Rocket from a 1968-72 Oldsmobile. Its been bored .30 over. It has approx. 6-7k miles on its rebuild. All ARP Hardware was used. It was zero decked. Speed Pro flat top forged piston (10:1 Compression). The stock crank was machined .010 and polished. The stock rods are resized .010 over. It has Edlebrock aluminum racing heads with upgraded valve springs and Harland Sharp 1.6 roller rockers. Edelbrock Victor high rise intake and a comp cam XE290HR energy camr reground (.557in/.572ex) Topped off with a Holly DP 750 Carb. Also aftermarket aluminum under drive pulleys. The tranny is a CK Performance Stage II Turbo 400. Reverse manual valve body and a B&M 3200+ stall convertor. 3.73 Posi. The car runs mid to high 12’s. You won’t be disappointed. Please let me know of any more questions. Listen to the motor run in the video. Payment: We would ask for a $500 deposit via paypal immediately after auction ends. Full payment due within 7 days or unless previously discussed. Thank you in advance for a smooth transaction. Our lines of communication are always open.
