IF YOU ARE IN THE BMW CARS SPECIALY THE OLDER GENERATIONS YOU MUST HAVE HEARD OF THEIR RACE PREP AND ENGINE SWAPS QUALITY OF WORK. THE E28 ORIGINALLY STARTED AS A DAILY DRIVER ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO AND I PRITY MUCH FIXED EVERY DETAIL OF THE CAR THAT NEEDED ATTENTION FROM ELECTRICAL TO MECHANICAL AND INTERIOR AND THE EXTERIOR. THIS E28 WAS BLACK ON BLACK WHEN I BOUGHT IT AND SINCE THE PAINT WAS SOME WHAT FAINTED I DECIDED TO GO WITH NEWER BMW DIAMOND BLACK(CHRCOAL GRAY) ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE CAR ONLY SO I LEFT THE DOOR JAMS AND ENGINE BAY AND THE TRUNK BLACK AND I AM GLAD I DID SO BECAUSE IT LOOKS GREAT AND LOOKS AS IT CAME OF THE ASSEMBLY LINE, I REPOWDER COATED ALL THE EXTERIOR MOLDING TO SATIN BLACK INCLUDING THE EURO BUMPERS AND THAT WAS HARD WORK BUT YOU SEE THE RESULTS. IT HAS THE OEM GERMAN MADE STEEL EURO FRONT SPOILER THAT I PURCHASED FROM GERMANY AND PAID ARM AND A LEG FOR IT WITH FOG LIGHTS CONVERTED TO PARK LAMPS. THEN I STARED WORKING ON THE INTERIOR AND REPLACED THE FRONT SEAT WITH FACTORY OEM "is" POWER SEATS (PLUG & PLAY) AND RECOVERED, THE BACK SEATS WERE VERY LITTLE USED SO I LEFT THEM ALONE, MOMO SUEDE STEERING WHEEL WITH MOMO ADAPTOR ADDS A NICE TOUCH AND FEEL AS WELL. THEN I CONVERTED THE BRAKE SYSTEM TO 7SER. WITH BIGGER ROTTORS AND CALIPERS AND THAT IMPROVED MY BRAKING SIGNIFICANTLY. I INSTALLED A BAVERIAN FULL SHORT THROUGH SHIFTER WITH CUSTOM MACHINED ADJUSTABLE SHIFTER NEW SOUND SYSTEM WITH MB QUARTS SPEAKERS MOUNTED ON OEM SPEAKER LOCATION WITH AMP AND SUB VERY CRISP AND CLEAR SOUND ABOUT $1500.00 WORTH. I DROVE THE CAR FOR ABOUT TWO AND HALF YEARS AND AT THAT TIME I GOT BOARD WITH THE POWER AND THE HANDDLING OF IT SINCE I AM USED TO DRIVING CARS WITH 300 TO 400 WHP CARS I DICIDED TO GO ALL THE WAY AND I HEARD ABOUT GROMA RACING AND TYPE OF WORK THEY DO IN MAGAZINES AND LOCAL BMW BODIES I PAID A VISIT AND THAT IS HOW THIS E28 CAME ALIVE.
