1970 Challenger SE - NO RESERVE! JH29L0E123395 J = Dodge Challenger H = High 29 = 2 Door Sports Hardtop L = 383 290HP 1-2BBL 8 CYL 0 = 1970 E = Los Angeles, CA, USA 123395 = 23394th Vehicle This Challenger SE appears to have begun it's life as 1 of only 79 built with light gold metallic exterior paint. It was a black interior, 383 2v auto/console, power steering, non-rallydash, bucket seat car with 489 case rear. (still in car) This Challenger definitely needs work. But is a fairly solid project with exception to front driver side frame rail under area under where battery tray goes, At some time in cars life acid leaked and damaged the rail. It is NOT rusted out however. Rest of the frame structure of this car is super-solid. There is some rust in floors and trunk as well as lower quarters and of course being a vinyl top car there is some in roof. Nothing that isn't repairable I believe. Also car has a magnum hood but is a bit rusty and has some bondo. Car will come with some of the SE parts including the small rear window plug and glass which are intact and good shape including the rear glass trim. Also the overhead console and the cardboard headliner shell which includes a roll of enough of the very hard to find "original style" headliner material to cover it.(I had it saved for many years for this project) There is a grill and headlight bezels, front and rear bumpers (good for cores or rechroming) Dash pad with this cars matching VIN plate, which needs repair/replaced. Gauge cluster and all dash trim, switches and bezels and decent shape SE door panels as well as a pretty good shape console. Car does NOT have a front windshield, any of the seats or of course the drivetrain. All other glass is with car as well as allot of misc interior and exterior trim pieces. The rear interior window plastic trim is also with car and although it is cracked it is very repairable. It is a very hard to find SE interior piece and as far as I know not even reproduced? There is most likely more I've forgotten about that will go with the car but believe i've covered most important pieces. At one time I did have the Fender tag but had misplaced it some years ago. May possibly find it by time auction ends but for now assume it does not come with car. Will have basic steel wheels and good enough tires on car to easily load for shipping. Car is worth restoring IMHO. But is a great canidate for donor or parts car too. All in all not bad especially considering it is a NO RESERVE AUCTION? Do have a clear title!
