1971 Mustang Convertible. Grabber Yellow with Mach 1 appearance package including fog lights and notched rear valance with correct exhaust tips. Black power top blends with stripes for an outstanding exterior appearance. Reasonably good black standard interior with period correct AM/FM radio with speakers in dash and in the doors . Exterior and interior appearance kept as original as possible. Top is not torn and looks good on the outside but pads inside are bad. Has had some patchwork in floors with new carpet. Overall appearance is really good, inside and out. Car was built for daily driving and parade duty. Might have guessed from the photos, the wife wanted the smiley face routine. New remanufactured 302 cubic inch, Holley 4 barrel engine with mild cam, electronic distributor, ceramic coated headers, dual exhaust with turbo mufflers, and performance intake. Engine painted yellow to match the car, with ball milled valve covers and air cleaner painted to match with bright chrome accents. Subframes are connected underneath and the car has 14” Magnum wheels with radial tires in good condition. C-4 shifts good with no slipping or unusual noises. New battery and just changed the break-in oil. Open 8” differential with what feels like 3.00 to 3.25 gears. Haven’t checked for sure. Fun, dependable cruiser and weekend show car. Great for ocean front driving, cruise nites, and parades. Guaranteed to stay busy during homecoming season and a ball at MardiGras. Very performance oriented head turner.
