1997 Ford F-350 XLT Crew Cab DuallyPower Stroke Diesel Turbo, Automatic243,100 miles - 2nd ownerNO RESERVE Up for bid is a 1997 F-350 Crewcab, heavy duty truck. The truck runs and drives well, everything works on it as it should. I have owned the truck since March 2005, when I bought it from the original owner. He had ordered the truck when new to tow his camper trailer from Indiana to Georgia every year as the weather changed. I bought it from him when he upgraded to a new truck. I had intended to use it to tow small equipment, but never did. I have used it as a spare truck, plus I had an equipment fuel tank on the back and would use it to go to jobsites on occasion. Mechanically, the truck is sound, I have done nothing major aside from maintenance. New brakes in 2011, as well as two new CAT batteries and new headlight lens, as the old ones had yellowed. The previous owner had a shift kit installed for towing his camper, so it shifts hard from first to second. It has dual fuel tanks. It drives well and has no problems that I'm aware of. The interior is nice, except for some stains on the carpet. All the power windows, locks, and seats work fine, except the driver side rear door window does not always obey. The body is good, paint still shines well. The passenger fender appears to have been repainted, and the clear coat has pealed. Please see the photos, I tried to capture all the imperfections. It would make a good heavy-duty work truck, and should have years of good service left in her. The truck is located just north of Macon, Georgia, in the middle of the state, just off of I-75.
