Vehicle Detail
1955 Buick Roadmaster with 63,986 original miles on it / Barn kept for years and runs. Good things / options This car is very solid with little rust all around it. The floors are perfect with no rust, trunk is the same way. The rockers are great as well as the fenders, I did notice a spot on drivers side quarter and a spot under drivers door. Both very repairable. I obtained the car via friend of friend and its now in primer with the stainless trim back on car. The windshield is good and so is rear window and quarter glass, the door glass is cracked. The car does run and has the 322 Nailhead in it and has recently been checked out at local service station and was fitted with new radiator and hoses. The trunk has a new spare tire that i can see but I have not been able to pop the trunk yet but crawled in from the rear seat. The dash has all items from the factory still intact- clock-radio-tissue dispenser. The head liner is still in and has a few holes but visors and mirror are also still intact. The entire interior is there, obviously it will need to be re-covered but all the stainless door trim is there and good. The rear seat seems to have had a cover over the original material and you will see that in one of the pictures. I am sure the seats will need to be re-built The chrome on the car is very nice, the bumpers will need to be re-chromed and have some dings but all parts are there, including the bullets for the front. The air cleaner is also there as well as a full set of original hubcaps- 3 of them seem very good and the 4th just seems to have had the center piece pushed in a little bit. It seems the gas tank was also removed and re-sealed and painted. As mentioned the PWR seat is all there but in rough shape, including the side covers of the front seat and they are in perfect shape with the emblems still intact and not pitted, you can see in the pictures that even the control knob is there. This is one great start to a very high dollar car in the end or an awesome parts car to complete a convertable. Please let me know if you have any questions. The car is located in Cumming, Georgia and was pulled from a barn in the area. There is no title with the car as this state does not do that but will come with bill of sale. Shipping quotes can be obtained for delivery. Thanks
