Vehicle Detail
Hello. Up for auction is this 1967 F600 Tanker Firetruck. This truck is in outstanding condition, after all, it has spent it's entire life in a climate controlled fire station. It has 6402 ORIGINAL documented miles, and was owned by just one small fire department it's whole life. This truck was just taken out of service last fall. It runs and drives excellent, and is powered by a V8 gas engine with a 4 speed transmission that shifts very smooth, and has a 2speed rear axle that works perfectly. The steering, suspension, brakes, etc operate as you would expect on any truck with only 6400 miles. As you can see by the photos, the body of the truck is fantastic and has never had any rust EVER. I have even included a picture of the bottom of the door seam to show how clean the body is. When you close the doors, they shut as solid as the day they were new. The interior is excellent and has no flaws or defects of any kind, as seen in the photos. Everything on the truck works, EVERYTHING! It is even still equipped with the WORKING lights and siren. I have included photos of the data plates on the lights and siren as well. The back has multiple storage cabinets for equipment and whatnot. There is a 2 cylinder Wisconsin engine powered pump on the back that has electric start and runs great. The hose reel has a power winder to roll it up that works great as well. The tanker is 1500 gallons and also has the quick dump on the back. The tires are great and have 80% or better tread left. This truck was just taken on a 200 mile road trip 3 weeks ago without any issues whatsoever. Fly in and drive it home if you wish. This would make and excellent cruise-in vehicle, parade truck, or even take the box off and have a cool vintage car hauler. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will be happy to answer them. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. Deposit of $500 due within 24 hours of auction end (Paypal) accepted, and balance due within 3 days via certified funds. I can store the truck for up to 2 weeks free of charge, and possibly longer if agreed upon. Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding!
