Vehicle Detail

This is the perfect engine swap car!! I've decided to sell my 1987 Pontiac fiero. Ive owned the car for 5years with almost zero issues, other than normal maintenance. The paint was only 6 months old when I purchased the car, so now it would be 5.5years old. The paint has some scuffs, chips, flakes, scratches and so forth around the entire car as you can see in the photos. The interior is in fair condition IMO. The fuel gauge sorta works but only between 1/4 tank and empty. The other gauges appear to work properly. The clutch master cylinder has been leaking a while and would ultimately need replaced. Since the clutch master leaked, the drivers side floor is stained with the fluid. I did replace the headliner several years ago and its been looking great ever since. The sunroof has a very slow drip when its down pouring rain. Both head lights function correctly. The transmission shifts great through all gears, except lightly grinds going into 5th due to worn syncros. The car is pretty much untouched other than the addition of the GT spoiler, and the GT seats. The seats are in pretty good shape, under the covers, except the common driver side bolster has pretty good amount of wear. The dash speakers were replaced with eclipse 6x4's and the seats also have eclipse tweeters in them. The speakers were all ran through an audiobahn amp which stopped working on me one day. Recently replaced the starter, and the clutch switch was bypassed (common issue). THE BAD: Engine ran low on oil and developed a pretty healthy rod knock. Car still runs and drives fine with the exception of the rod knock, and needing to pump the clutch due to leaking master cylinder. To fix the issue, you would need to swap out the crankshaft and replace the rod bearings and possibly have the spun rod resized or replaced. I priced this out and came up with under $1000 if I did the labor myself. I then decided to do a complete engine swap, since the car is complete. This car is a perfect canidate for an engine swap!!! But ultimately Sold off my engine swap stuff here on ebay, and have decided to find a different project. Car will drive on to a trailer. Car should not be driven any distance due to engine damage. Over all I believe the car is in decent shape for its age. I DO have the original spare tire. All Pictures Were Taken on 3-10-12
