I have a 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7 GT. The car has been sitting since 1987 at a storage facility in Indiana. I took it to a local repair shop here in Phoenix and they were able to start the car using by cleaning the points, a new battery and with some starter fluid. I do not have a title for it. She has some moderate to mildly severe rust in the floor boards and 1/4 panels and trunk area. It does have the original keys and valve covers. I recently removed most of the carpet because it was very wet and smelled bad. Good: Rare (Only 2,800 built), solid, 390 S Code, C6 trans, 9 inch rear end, About 95% complete, motor turns over.
