1969 Torino Cobra Formal Roof 428 Cobra Jet Background - Originally sold at Western Slope Auto of Grand Junction, Colorado - Bought locally (Portland Oregon) in 1995 - Restoration started in 1995, finished in 2011 (FINALLY!) - Cobra was purchased as a shop project for my Collision Repair/Restoration Shop - Less than 300 miles since restoration -Included with the vehicle is an extensive collection of all invoices, receipts, schematics, materials, etc. that went along with this restoration Engine - Q code 428 Cobra Jet with numbers matching engine and components - Factory correct Holley carburetor (date code matched) - Date code correct intake manifold, exhaust manifold, distributor, cylinder heads, block, etc. Transmission - Date code correct C6 transmission - professionally rebuilt with extra clutches, and heavy-duty valve body Rear End - Original standard differential has been upgraded to a date code correct 9” Nodular Traction-Loc with 3.50:1 gear Suspension - Suspension and brake system has been rebuilt back to stock Wheels/Tires - Original 1969 Chrome Styled Steel Wheels - BF Goodrich Radial T/A 215/70R14 Interior - Interior has been restored from top to bottom - New headliner - Bench Seat front and rear recovered with factory black vinyl - New black carpet with factory style pad - Original hard to find dash pad in excellent condition - Factory 6,000 rpm tach gauge cluster- Factory Ford AM Radio - Every square inch of the interior was refurbished, recovered, or replaced Paint/Body - Car was professionally media blasted and dipped - Bumpers Re-Chromed - Exterior trim polished - All metal/body work was professionally repaired and sheet metal aligned - Paint is factory correct Indian Fire Metallic - PPG Concept line of sealer, primer, base coat, and clear coat was utilized (thousands spent on paint materials used on this restoration) Serious parties may contact me via email with questions.
