Up for sale is my 94 dodge diesel 4x4 with a 5 speed tranny. This has been a great truck since I have had it but I bought a extended cab and I dont need this one anymore. Truck is showing 299,000 miles or so but speedo has not worked since I have had it. I have put over 25000 miles on it i know. Truck runs and drives good. Tranny shifts easy with no problems. Clutch is still strong. Motor runs good but it does have a noise that no other cummings engines that I have drove have. It kinda sounds like a knock but it could be alot of different things. I had a mechanic look at it and he said that is the way that engine sounds. I disagree but it has never let me down or left me stranded yet. Four wheel drive worked when I bought it but it has quick working now and I cant find the vacuum leak anywhere. You can feel it engage but the front hubs wont lock in. They make a aftermarket kit that fixes this but I never have bought it. It cost around $130 dollars here on ebay. This will fix it for sure but you can fix the vacuum lines as well. Truck holds good oil pressure. It puffs alittle blue smoke till it gets warm but then it clears up. Truck still had the factory exhaust on it till I cut it off. It runs and sounds better with the straight exhaust now. Truck does leak a little oil and is wet underneath but almost all dodges are. I just keep everything checked and changed. This really has been a good truck and I dont have to sell it. If it brings enough then I will let it go. Interior is in pretty good shape as well. Dash does have one crack down the middle but that is it. It just cracked last year. The windshield is cracked but it doesnt affect your view while driving. Truck has a later model seat in which is power on the driver side. It is torn which you can see in the pictures. Truck does not have carpet it has a factory rubber floor mat which is easy to clean. The temperature guage quit working and I figure it is a sending unit problem. The gas guage works periodically but isnt all ways accurate. Oil pressure and alternator guage work fine. Truck usually gets around 18-20 mpg. A/c does not work. I had it charged last summer and spent almost $100 dollars and it was gone in about three days. Heater works great. Has a nice aftermarket cd player in it thats work great as well. I replaced the both front hub assemblies, brakes, and rotors a little over a year ago and spent almost $600 dollars doing that. Truck is not new of course so dont expect it to be. I wouldnt be afraid to get in it a drive it cross country though. I use this truck daily and will be till it sells. I have used the truck to haul everything from hay to vehicles with the lift that you see on it. THE LIFT WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION IT WILL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH THE FACTORY BUMPER. I will be putting it on my new truck. This truck has good tires which are 1/2 tread or so. Has all the factory chrome wheels and caps which are still nice looking. It has a nice chrome brush guard, bed rails, bed caps, bed rails, etc. it has ventshades on the windows but they are broke and need to be replaced. Cruise control does not work either. The paint is tired and shows scratches and fading and the body shows bumps and bruises. The dents are pictured which it has on it. I tried to include them all. They are not big at all and the biggest one is on the tailgate. There is two rust spots that are pictured which are not bad either. They are just bubbling up under the paint. Overall this is a nice truck for the age. If the noise I mentioned scares you then dont expect something different when you come to pick it up because it is there and it sounds different than any other cummings that I have. I have four of these trucks including this one and love all of them. I have a 1998, 1994, 1990, and I Chevy 4 door 4x4 dually with a 1993 cummings engine with a 5 speed. These are possilby the toughest and most well known motors ever made I believe but that is my opinion. Also remember truck is still being used till it sells. On Mar-19-12 at 19:33:23 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention in the description the first time that the ignition was bad when I purchased the truck and it had a push button start on it. I have never changed that it has always worked fine so I left it on there. Last summer the kill solenoid on the motor failed and the truck wouldnt start until you flipped it back. This part runs about $150 dollars so I just put a wire and a spring on the switch so you can kill it. I removeed the solenoid completely to fix the problem. It has worked fine and hasnt given me any problems since. I figured you could see the wire in the pictures and would be asking what it was for. The wire is hanging by the tilt on the column right now. Now you know. That is the only thing that I forgot.
