i bought this old german classic back in 09' when i had like 50 60 or 70 some odd roadsters. i purchased from a man in san jose ca. who sold it as he needed room in his driveway& his wife was complaining that their new vehicle was on the street& this one was just taking up space in the driveway. anyways,i had it towed to my house,aired up a soft tire, put a few gallons of fresh gasoline in it, tossed in a hot battery & VROOOOM, it started right up(was sitting for a few years prior).it was red in color but i had my buddy primer it& do some upholstry work on it.i was going to keep it for a driver so i started fixing it up a bit, was going to get some more modern/upgraded wheels&tires but never got around to it. SALVAGE TITLE**** but i cant find if/where it was hit so....????????????? **no rust** super nice chassis& body. except for the hood, has some dings& it's borderline on maybe needing replacement. great transmition,shifts strong,no oil leaks or overheating,idles a little high though. should be able to be a daily driver right now. i would recommend changing all fluids & tuning this old collector car up. it will drive away right now probely anywhere you need to go . some of the pictures i posted show me driving it down the road yesterday. hardtop & softop as shown in pictures. hardtop needs rear glass as it fell over in a windstorm& glass broke. softtop is nice but due to lack of use has a couple of small tears in fabric,plastic is perfect. AS IS what you see is what you get. no smog required for those who reside in california. so basically a solid german collector car that's super fun to drive,powerful,& getting more rare every day. feel free to email me w/ any ?'s that you may have. i'm getting rid of all my old cars .
