Vehicle Detail
Your bidding on a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere 2 Dr. Coupe. Previous bidder did not read the complete discription. So please read to the end. The engine has been removed, but the car was a V8 car. You don't need to replace the "K" menber to put your V8 in the car. The pushbutton transmission is still in the car along with the rest of the drive line. The original engine blew up and was never replaced.. The rear end is an 8 3/4, but i don't know what the gear ratio is or if it's limited slip or not. The car was being raced when the engine blew. It still has traction control under the rear end. The body is in good shape, with the usual parking lot dings, except for one area on the drivers side that has a small dent. (look at photo's). Know need to replace a body panel, an easy repair. These cars usually have issues in the window pillars and sheet metal housing the winshield wipers. Especiall the rear window. That's not true in this car(See photo's). All the glass is there, with know cracks. The bumpers will need to be recromed if you are planning on a show car.The inside has some rust issues. The front floor pans have rusted and have holes in them. I have brand new patch panels you can install, they come with the car. There's a small rust hole in the floor of back seat area on the drivers side. An easy patch, know need for a floor panel here. The only other rust issue is in the trunk on the drivers side, there's a rust hole, also an easy fix. There are know rust issues in the engine compartment. (see photo's) The seats are 48 years old and will need to be recovered. If your plan for this car is to be a Super Stock model clone, the bidder that clicks on the Buy It Now will receive two A-100 bucket seats, that were used on the Super Stock models. The wiring is still there from when the engine was pulled, waiting for an engine to be installed.. NOTE:the car was last registered in 1983, and has not been driven on the road since 1984. THE CAR IS BEING SOLD WITH A BILL OF SALE: My phone number is 530-885-5421 or send me questions on an email. If you call there is an answering machine, and i will return your calls and answer any questions you might have. My name is Jack, so call me if you would like to. There are know warranty's expressed or implied, and a $500.00 deposit is due 48 Hrs. after sale ends. Please call about your shipping plans. If you decide to pick up the car, i will except cash for the balance due after the deposit was paid. Please call at end of auction todiscuss your shipping plans.Shipping is the buyers responsibility.
