Vehicle Detail

OH MY!! CHECK OUT THIS ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL 1998 FORD MUSTANG V6 SPORTS COUPE! THIS VEHICLE IS A REAL HEAD TURNER, IT RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, AND BEST OF ALL IT IS GOING TO THE HIGH BIDDER OF THIS NO RESERVE 5 DAY AUCTION!! I could stop with the title as that pretty much sums up this great car, but as my feedback shows, I am an extremely honest seller and I will go down the list and tell you anything you may want to know about this car. Also, if I don't cover something please ask!! This vehicle is over 10 years old and will be sold mileage exempt, as this is how I bought it. The odometer shows just under 75,000 miles and works so I assume it to be right, but by law it must be sold exempt. Lets start with the drivetrain: This car does run and drive great with no problems. The engine runs quiet and smooth with more power than one would expect from a V6. The transmission is great, goes through all 5 gears smoothly without any abnormal noises or actions. This car holds good oil pressure and runs normal on temp. The only 2 issues I need to mention on the mechanical condition are: the clutch catches near the top. It works just like it should, no shudder, no problems, but I would guess the pressure plate will need to be replaced in the next 5-10,000 miles(approx 250.00). Also the tires are at about 25%, plenty to get you home, and probably through the summer but it will need tires in the next few months. The brakes stop good with no chatter or squeals. The A/C is ice cold. I will also have a fresh oil change, fluids topped off, and a FULL TANK OF GAS for you on pickup. The exterior: This vehicle looks far better than you would expect for the year. The paint has an amazing shine and although it is a 98 and you should expect door dings, scuffs, etc. This car will exceed your expections on looks. The areas of mention on the exterior would be slight spider cracking on the front bumper, nothing through the paint and not noticable unless right on top of it in the right light, but it is there. Also, the wheels are not perfect, a little curb rash on a couple and some staining from brake dust(I included a pic which is representative of all wheels). The ground effects on both sides are hanging a little bit toward the front. They need a couple of pins that hold them tight, it's about 20.00 for 4 pins, it just never bothered me. You can see in the pics that it isn't highly noticable unless you are standing directly over them looking down. All glass is good, no cracks or chips. Also, this is a florida car, THERE IS NO REAR DEFROST. I would give the exterior a strong 8/10. Interior: This is the part of the car that needs the most work. Not a ton, but more than the rest of the car. The seats are dirty(stained) and have seam tears. I have 2 very nice seat covers on the front seats, and the rear is as-is. I have taken a pic of the rear that is representative of the drivers seat as well. The passenger has a very nice leather factory mustang seat that I found used. I was hooping to find the others but stopped looking. I'm sure you can find them from a junkyard for next to nothing and have a great looking leather interior. The door panels are typical of older mustangs. The panels themselves are actually not too bad, just a little seperation of the vinyl up toward the window, the part that holds the window and lock buttons are bad, the drivers side was screwed on by the precious owner, and I have the passenger side glued(see pics). These parts are available readily on ebay from less than 50.00 for a pair. The power windows and locks all work, the power mirrors do not. The floors are in nice shape, and with a little elbow grease and a couple hundred dollars at most and the interior would be excellent, or leave it as is and you will probably as good or better than 90% of 98 and older Mustangs. So thats it. Overall a very nice car that will go for an amazing price I'm sure. NADA retail is about 4900.00, dealers around here have cars like this with more miles and that don't look as nice for 5900.00. This one will go for????? you tell me! get a great deal on the perfect summer ride. I have a clear Florida title in hand. If you have any questions, again, please ask. Pickup is the responsibility of the purchaser and must be done within 10 days. A deposit of 500.00 is due through Paypal within 48 hours. As I said before, I am a very honest seller and have descirbed this vehicle to the best of my ability. Please keep in mind, as nice as it is, it is still a 14 year old used vehicle. Expect normal wear and tear, and to have to do a little work to make it like you want it. I will also stand behind my description. If you get here, and don't love it, I will refund your deposit through paypal, cancel the sale, and thank you for your time. No games, gimmicks, or lies here. Just a great car that someone will love to have as much as I have enjoyed it! Good luck and happy bidding! On Mar-29-12 at 09:23:55 PDT, seller added the following information: **UPDATE-I AM WORRIED IF SOMEONE COMES FROM A GOOD DISTANCE TO PICK UP THE CAR THAT THERE IS NO TELLING IF THE CLUTCH WILL MAKE IT. I AM GOING TO PUT A NEW ONE IN JUST TO BE SAFE, SO THIS CAR WILL HAVE A NEW CLUTCH ON PICKUP.**
