Vehicle Detail

This is an offering for a 1970 Porsche 911T. The car looks, sits (aside from my personal preference that the front should be lowered), and drives wonderfully. There is no rust, quite clean. I will have it up on a lift next week to shoot those photos if necessary. Here is the cars story: Exterior: The car started life in Porsche paint code 1111-G. It is a very rare factory sunroof car. The sunroof works as it should today. As you can see, it has been painted a dark, midnight blue. Before being painted, RS look (SC) flares were put on, fiberglass front "S" bumper, fiberglass "RS" rear bumper and fiberglass "RS" ducktail installed. The cars shows with H4 headlights. One of the washer fluid sprayers is missing. You can see the mirrors are not period correct, sadly. Paint is acceptable - not going to fall off in a year or two, but it was done 8-9 years ago. Fiberglass front bumper has some marks, hood some road chips, but overall, pretty solid paint. Engine/Transmission/Brakes: Motor transplant was done in around 2004. A 1974 2.7 was installed (motor #6143354m 911/82) with stainless SSI heater boxes. The transmission is a 7:31 915. Both motor and trans were rebuilt by a reputable shop in the area - I believe we still have the receipt but no guarantees. Chain tensioners were installed at the time and the dual batteries were converted to a single battery. Despite being 8 years ago for the rebuilds, the car has seen just 2,000 miles (give or take) since. At the time of the installed motor/trans new oil cooling lines were run to the front and a trombone cooler and thermostat were installed. The 2.7 has always seen cool and clean oil. Recently all new brakes, rotors, calipers, and master cylinder were all done - 1970 911T brakes. Car shifts smoothly - no grinding or difficulty getting into or out of gears. Swepco fluids used. Motor should be close to 175HP with the SSI's. FUCH wheels are 16's. Tires are in need of replacing soon as they have flat spotted from sitting. Interior: Dino steering wheel, speedometer, fuel gauge and horns are not working. The dash is in fantastic condition with the only issues that of a single small crack towards the front of the window and a peg in the speaker grill. You can see the door pockets were removed, along with the armrests and handles to open doors not installed nor included. The Recaro Sport shown in the photos were just removed - and not included. I have attached a photo of the Momo's that are now installed. Carpet, visors, rear seats, knee pads, all in good shape. The front of the teatray is missing the metal bar that goes across the top/center. Car has a harness bar and wears Bell Motorsports black seat belts. I will have leakdown and compression test results soon and will post them here. If you are reading this - it has not yet been done. I can knock off $500 from the price if you take the car with some crappy single core seat (drivers side only). Car can be seen locally or arrangements for shipping inside or outside the US can be made.
