1998 Ford Ranger 4x4 (4wd) Fully-working snow plow setup installed on truck. This truck and snow plow setup is fully functional and ready to go! Truck runs well, plow operates as it should. Snow plow also has downward pressure to "pull" snow backwards. Please be advised of the following issues: The odometer on this truck stopped working around 165,000 miles. Actual mileage is therefore unknown. The transmission has a slight issue on startup - you need to shift into "Drive" from "2nd." After that, the truck runs normally until it's shut off again. The vin shows a fender-bender. There is some light rust on the underside that should be expected with a truck of its age. The radio and cassette player on the truck works, but to adjust the volume you need to shut off the radio and turn it back on again. Lastly, the exhaust system will need replacing soon. I am aware of how these issues detract from the value of the truck, which is why my starting bid price is set at around the cost of the snow plow alone. 4WD works great in snow and ice- and it even has a hub lock on the wheels which disengages the wheel connection in the summer to increase gas mileage, effectively making it a 2WD.
