1986 Porsche 911 Targa BEAUTIFUL 911 TARGA BLACK WITH TAN INTERIORS 5 SPEED LOW RESERVE! Nice Southern car that was in the Atlanta area since new, now in Florida. Regularly driven, Always garaged. On offer is a nice 1986 911 Targa. The beautiful black paint is nicely complemented by the tan interior with a black Targa frame and roof section. The body is extremely sound with no rust. The car comes with substantial but probably not complete service records, all of the original manuals and 2 keys. Last service was in December 2011. Replaced all brake pads, rotors, and clutch cable. In addition, the car has new windshield, battery, Alpine door speakers, wipers, and good Bridgestone Potenza tires. The Porsche has a beautiful Nardi wheel and the very rare wide turbo fuchs in beautiful shape. Powerful smooth fuel injected 3.2 bulletproof motor with 915 5 speed manual. Engine bay is clean and looks to be completely unmodified. Everything works in the interior except the power seat motor, but the manual controls allow it to adjust. Even the original VDO clock works great. New Alpine IDA-X 305S, Two-way Clifford car alarm, AC (needs recharge), power windows, good door locks, two keys. Does not leak oil, clean underside, turbo valve cover updates done. Car comes fitted with a stainless cat delete pipe. The car sounds fantastic with the delete pipe. Front strut brace and matching tan plush trunk liner, original spare, jack and tools, as well as original manuals included. New Targa top skin and liner. New Targa Top front seal. Heat and defrost also work well. Original door leather panels and pockets all there and in good shape. Good examples are getting rare though, and all the important original stuff is here...Doors hang straight, no oil leaks, car goes fast and strong, runs cool, and starts easily every time. The car just is not perfect, but it is sure to be the best example for the asking price. I've purchased and restored some of these 911’s, and this one is the most solid and reliable I've had the pleasure to own, and it has needed nothing. The car is registered, inspected, and insured. You can feel confident that this car can be safely driven anywhere you want to take it. Some negative points are that the air conditioning needs charge, the driver’s electric seat doesn’t work but can be adjusted manually. Driver seat bolsters are worn, but still very serviceable. Paint good from 10 feet, shines up nice, but has several small marks, and has some spiderwebbing on the passenger side from a previous respray (see photos included). Bid with confidence.
