FOR SALE is a 1991 350 SDL (126 chassis) MERCEDES-BENZ TURBO DIESEL. I purchased this car 9/06/2007 and have only put 30,000 miles on it in the last 4.5 years. I have always had a truck to drive in the winter months.This car has not seen snow since ive owned it. I have a pile of repair&maintenance receipts dating back to 2002 from the previous owner. I bought the car from a recent widow, her deceased husband was a Doctor , who spared "no" expense in maintaining his benz. I have literally thousands of dollars in receipts. The car has 279,454 miles on the chassis. The 3.5 L6 engine was replaced with a documented NEW LONGBLOCK. by a Mercedes Benz dealer in S.C.@101,365 miles.These long blocks were revised by Mercedes Benz due to a high compression turbo charged engine, with inferior connecting rods.Therefore hence the new long block.The transmission was also replaced by the previous owner at a reputableforeign car garage for $3,995.00 ( have all receipts). & with 140,653 miles on the car at that time.Therefore the engine has approx a 179,000 0n it. And the transmission approx 140,000 on it.And both have been serviced regularly if not sooner then required. Since ive owned the car I too have invested thousands, Including what I would call a decent paint (factory color) job from a local body shop $1200.00. Four rims $900.00. JENSEN HD/DVD systems with speakers$700.00. Window tint 200.00. Complete replacement headlamp&foglamp assembly , front shocks, upper control arm bushings,shocks, new cross drilled front rotors& ceramic front brake pads.Cruise control computer& actuator, floor mats, heater contol valve, voltage regulator.ASD Accuator(automatic slip differential) And Mercedes Benz complete manuals on the 126 chasis on CD-ROM, HAVE ALL RECEIPTS! The interior is in excellent shape, no cracks in dash or steering wheel.Im very paticular about maintaining my vecihles. This car runs and drives strong &smooth. I have owned many vechiles over the years.And I must say this year & chassis model Mercedes benz is simply remarkable of its time.You have pleanty of power with a inline turbo diesel,with style&comfort and still AVG 24MPG. All power options P. moonroof, P.W. P-mirriors, r-defog, Power seats&headrests work. The only option that does not work is the power attenna. It never concerned me. Ive always left it up.It can retract by hand if necesssary . There are some small dings and scrathes on the car I will do my best to show in photos.I will also try to add undercarrige photos before the auction ends. But I can assure you in advance it is rust free. There is 1.5" rust blister of paint in front of the left front wheel. This is not a show piece nor do I discribe it to be.It is simply a good looking 20+year old benz. The Reserve is firm! please do not make me offer if the reserve price has not been met.
