BID to OWN!! NO RESERVE!!! 1959 Chevy El Camino Clean Title in my name. Car has been non-oped. COMES with Yellow and Black Plates!!! registered to the El Camino. I will provide transfer paperwork for the Yellow plates if needed. (So you can register it in CA with those Plates) Runs will need a tune up. I have driven it up and down my driveway. 283 2bbl. Still has a generator. with a 4 speed on the floor. It is an alumimum case and I do not think it is orgional. New brakes New Dual piston caliper aluminum. Chrome plated. New Cross drilled and sloted rotors. New Chrome plated dual master cylinder. New Stainless hard lines throughout the vehicle. New Stainless flex lines front and back. New rear brakes they were rebuilt using NEW wheel cylinders, shoes, springs and hardware etc. Drums were in good shape. New shocks front and back. Will need a final bleeding in my opinion before going out on the open road. New suspension bushings in front are Polyurethane. Has new tie rod ends (inner and outer). New lowering springs front and back 1.5 inches in front and 3" in back. 0 MILES on new suspension. brakes and tires and rims. Brand New 18's boss 338 brand new tires 245 40 18 Lexani's brand new 0 miles on rimes and tires. Tires still have stickers on them. I have only driven up and down my driveway on the whole system. Body: It is in good shape for its age. Has a dent in the lower passenger side as shown in the pictures. Has a dent in the drivers side fender and door. Comes with a clean drivers fender and a clean drivers door. Has misc dings in the hood at the point and in a few other places but nothing major. Rockers look good Shows some bubbling in the rear quarters as shown in pictures. I have not sanded down the body and am unsure if there is Bondo or filler on car but it looks like there is some on the lower passengers side after the wheel closest to the rear bumper. Needs Floors but comes with a donor floor. Has some rust in rear quarters as shown in pictures. Bed has small holes in it almost all smaller than the size of a dime and it looks like it could be patched. I will get you pictures on request. (I am out of space in Ebay pictures) Interior: Comes with new window felts Front and rear windows in good shape. Have new door and ignition lock set (keys match) not installed but included Missing headliner Missing the passenger side door panel The package tray in the back has some rust through on the passenger side. in pictures but didn't come out that well. It will need a new interior. I Have some fender skirts that do need work but are included. Comes with a spare pair of rear side mouldings For the quarter panels. Some of the bed chrome does not have holes in it!! the pieces that DO NOT have holes in it are one bed rail (not shown on elco) the middle piece behind back window the driver side (left side next to back window, the lower right corner next to tail gate. The car does come with a complete set of bed trim some trim with hoes some with out. all need to be restored. There is a dent on the right side of the bumper guard. Grill in good condition. Bumpers are in good condition, piece above bumper i think is called grill guard has some damage as shown in pictures. Comes with a box of interior trim pieces. It looks like all the trim parts are there, I am not sure but email if you want to see a specific part. Rear lights have some spiders in them but do not have holes in them. Gas tank was cleaned as told through previous owner, im not shure how well though, I am getting some chunks in fuel filter. Tanks does not leak. rear was done with new bushings as told through previous owner. Chrome trim in good shape for its age. Will need some TLC. Interior needs some work. Passenger side window is off window track. Will need a general restoration. Will need some electrical work. Right rear axle is missing one stud. It is a nice start for an 1959 El Camino If you want specific pictures or further info let me know. The vehicle does have the center caps for the rims. They are just not on the vehicle. If you are looking to ship it overseas (Austraulia), you will need to find transportation from the vehicles current location (my driveway) to what ever port it needs to go to for shipping. The bottoms of the doors do not show any rust through. The driver door does sag and most likely needs a hinge rebuild. The frame does not look rotted from what I can tell. The seat is not bolted down and there is a rip in the vinyl. This car does run and move under its own power but is a PROJECT. It is nor registered for the road. It has been non-oped. You will NOT be able to get in it and drive to the east coast.On Mar-17-12 at 13:49:45 PDT, seller added the following information:If you are local and seriously interested. email me to set up a time to inspect it.On Mar-18-12 at 13:47:00 PDT, seller added the following information:Per some phone calls: IN MY OPINION to get this thing on the road it will need: An alignment because of the new front end. engine needs a tune up and valve cover gaskets i would go through and service the fluids, engine trans etc. The seat will need to be bolted back in. Tail lights will need to be fixed. I think it is a grounding issue. Has head lights. No turn signals or tail lights. It will need registration as it is non oped. NO BACKFEES!
