I normally don't like it when people post pictures of what the car could look like. however suprisingly not may people are as familiar with the Skylark as other cars. Daily driver runs like a top! Everything functions on the car as it (unless stated otherwise) so you would likely have no problem registering the car to drive. I could register it here no problem but I don't need another vehicle to drive. This girl is one that prooves it's on the inside that counts. The Interior is in great condition for the year. Motor and tranny and all components function as they should The outside needs a decent body guy to give her a little love and she will look like a million bucks. I included a picture of what she will look like with a little body help and a new paint,, maybe some 20's or 22's lol. The Motor has 57,000 miles on it and was a rebuilt installed in 2002. I have a receipt book for this vehicle that shows all of the purchases made for it since 2002. most have been made since 2006 totalling $4500.00. This vehicle has belonged to the same person for the last 16 years who loved the car. After getting hit by a deer in the front fender he has ran out of the means and/or ability to see this vehicle restored to it's natural beauty. This car should go to someone else who will love her just as much. I'm upgrading to a bigger truck so i'm liquidating. My loss is your gain.So i'll give you a list of all the pros and cons about the car that I'm aware of. The car was a daily driver up until 2011. Has been started and ran often since then just not registered. I will consider trades of decent running vehicles. This vehicle can be registered to drive with bill of sale there is no title for it. It's not required due to it's age. Pro's The steering wheel turns better and easier than almost any other car i have ever been in. There is a little play in the steering wheel. Have the majority of all the trim pieces if not all of them. Extra set of rims in the trunk with full size spare. Motor- 71-80 Buick 350 w/ 4 Barrell Distributer-1979 Buick Lesaber 350.00 Transmission- 400 Turbo with a Shift Kit and Pulling package Interior is in really good condition considering the year. below are all NEW and Installed.and I have a "Holy Grail" Book of reciepts and a ton of Info about the car. Ball Joints Front and Rear springs shocks front and rear brakes and hardware (drum brakes all the way around) Windshield AC Compressor and 1 hose, condencer Door panels, seal plates, and seals Spark Plugs Fan Motor Fuel Tank Sending Unit Fuel Tank Front Bushings Sun Visor Supports Engine Harness Flywheel(not installed) it has one on it but i just have a new one. Headliner Alternator New CD Stereo. Rear Bock 6x9 3 Ways road master Front- Sony Tweeters. Interrior is prety much original and in good condition. The front seats are leather but are not original(passenger headrest has rip in it) Cons: A/ Works. but needs a new hose and to be flushed and refilled. May need a new driver fender Needs Drip tray in trunk(rusted out) Needs some body work in a few other spots on the body Speedometer Reads 10mph faster than your actuall going. so if it says 50 your going 40 Gas Guages needs solderat contact points in dash but is functional for the mean while Needs a new Dash. There is a rip in the dash infront of the steering wheel. I found one on ebay for like 80 buicks Has an oil leak in one of the gaskets on the motor(but i'd drive this car anywhere) There are a few places on the car where it's rusted thru. one is the passenger quarter panel and under passenger door. I believe the driver fender and driver door may have to be replaced. please refer to pictures. Please note that my feedback is Extreamly Important to me. I have explained the car to the best of my ability(and taken the best pictures i can and loaded as many as ebay would let me). If possible please feel free to look at the vehicle or have a professional look at the vehicle prior to bidding.
