This Vanagon is extremely, clean, well cared for, dependable, and everything works! I purchased it December, 2010, made alot of additions/replacements, but don't have time to use it. I drove to/from Boulder, Colorado and a number of shorter trips with no problems at all. It is an extremely solid vehicle and obviously has been well cared for, especially since it has had only two previous owners. You will not need to do anything to this Vanagon except drive and enjoy it! [Two small rust areas on left side which have been patched and small dent on back (see photos).] 1. New engine installed by Wagners VW in Grantville, PA and currently has about 12,000 miles on it. 2. Brakes replaced July, 2011. 3. Starter replaced July, 2011. 4. New tires 2011. 5. New belts 2011. 6. A/C checked and freon re-charged 2011. 7. Drivers door electric window motor replaced. 8. New battery and back-up battery replaced/installed ($600.00). 9. Alpine stereo system with 4 speakers, subwoofer, CD and iPod hook-up ($2,500.00). 10. New pop-up three window tent. 11. New propane cylinder. 12. New front/rear steel bumpers. 13. New antenna. 14. Vintage style hub caps. 15. New high output headlights. 16. Yakima roof rack. 17. Yakima Skybox storage box ($350.00). 18. All window seals, body seals and pop top seals replaced. 19.
