For auction is this 1966 Honda CA78 305 Honda Dream. Frame number CA78-1005518 - Engine number CA77E-1005530. The bike is titled in my name - a good, clear Iowa title. The bike starts, runs and rides like a dream! It does not smoke. Shifts through all the gears like it should. The suspension is good. The bike has had a fresh service and fluid change. New IRC tires and tubes have been installed. The carburetor has been cleaned and adjusted. The original mufflers are not on the bike - aftermarket shortie mufflers have been installed. All the electricals work properly. The horn has a good, strong 'beep'. The original paint has scratches and chips in it. The fenders are in good condition, but the front fender has a long dent in the top ( the dent shows fairly well in one of the photos ). The speedometer does not work right all the time - it will work for a while and then pop up to 100 mph. I bought a new cable for the speedometer, but that did not fix the problem - it could be the gauge has sat too long and needs a good lubrication?? The gas tank was replaced on the bike with a black gas tank. The inside of the tank is fairly clean, but the tank has dents on the top. The chrome side panels are in good condition, but have no badges. The original seat is on the bike - the cover is torn and has been taped. Not a perfect example, but a good running little bike. Sold as-is. Buyer is responsible for the cost and arranging of shipping. Either pick the bike up yourself, or arrange to have it hauled. Daily Direct or Uship can help with the shipping arrangements.
