1932 FORD HIGHBOY ROADSTER. I assembled this kit car about 7 years ago and am the only owner. The frame rails, cross members, windshield, top frame and suspension parts are from Speedway and the body is fiberglass by Harwood. The car has a late model 302 roller motor out of a Mustang that came with GT-40-P heads and I put in an E series cam and a Holley intake with an Edelbrock carburetor. The car has an AOD overdrive with TCI valve body and a Lokar shifter in front of the 9 in. 3.50 traction lock with Moser axles. Stopping is provided by 4wheel disc brakes. It has 15" Wells rodlite wheels and the tires are in excellent condition. I drove the car a few years in primer to make sure everything was ok before the painting was done. It drives super nice and runs great. Two years ago it was painted the Illusion Blue. The paint is a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. The interior was done last year and it really stands out at cruises. I did not do anything to the trunk except put in insulation because it was going to make the trunk too small to carry chairs and other things we needed for Saturday night cruising.
