This auction is for a rare find, a virgin, all original FJ40. Ca since new, one owner. No rust, impeccable body. The fender flares you see on the truck are the type that simply attach to the lip, so the fenders are not cut as they often are. That makes the truck considerably more desirable. The graphics you see on it were applied by the dealer when new (paint, not stickers). Obvioucly the truck could stand for some restoration work. Has been sitting for about 15 years, yet started weekly and occasionally driven around the block. Tires are rotten and square, but we drove it to our shop with no problem. This is the year with the 2F engine, two barrel carb, power disc brakes, four speed transmission, and a part time 4x4 transfer case. Last year with the thicker and stronger body structure. All smog equipment is there. Equipped with a rare overdrive as well. Some extra parts included, as shown in images. Even the rare door straps and original touch up paint can are still there! I have personally owned over 500 FJ40's, and you would be hard pressed to find a better place to start for either a light project/daily driver or full restoration candidate. Hard top has never been used. Previous owner says about 40K of the miles occurred in tow behind an RV. We are moving, that is the only reason we are selling this truck. Otherwise, I would store it and restore it to order for a happy client.
