The engine is so smooth and quiet you can barely hear it running. (Watch 1st video to hear it run) Note :The speedometer cable might need to replace or re-tighten . when driving to 50mph the speedometer is wavering . There are only 3 dings on the body of this car that I know of otherwise it's immaculate condition. The Car is Super Clean in and Out consider for it's age!! Drives like a dream!! Arizona and California car absolutely Rust Free (No rust what so ever)!!! This MGC GT was completely restored in 2006 (Six years Ago) & has held up very well. The car has always been garaged in California after being restored. The MGC GT is relatively rare with just 4,449 produce GT's built during its brief 2 1/2 year production run. The MGC sold from 1967 and produced through to August 1969. The engine produced 145 bhp (108 kW) at 5250 rpm. This example is one of 4458 MGC GT's produced. It has a four speed manual transmission. No Over Drive. The car is presently used as a weekend pleasure driver car only. It has been to several classic car shows and this MGC GT is a head turner. This MGC is a strong dependable runner, with exceptionally tight firm suspension and steering. It has just been serviced. New rear tube shocks & new rear leaf springs have been installed. The seats have just been reupholstered in genuine leather with red lining. Also all new seat padding & foam. Very comfortable for long drives. In the January 2012 issue of Classic Motorsports, Comparison of the MGA, MGB & MGC they wrote, "out of the three cars in our comparison we were most blown away by the MGC GT. It cruises effortlessly, with the ride & driving feel of a modern BMW rather than an old MG" "The MGC is the sleeper of the group that is starting to wake up. Its built better, performs better & is rarer than the MGA & MGB so expect prices to rise over the $30K mark before long." A wonderful car but also a great investment!
