1995 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.5L TURBO DIESEL 4x4, 3/4TON. ***PLEASE READ ENTIRE ADD BEFORE BIDDING*** This truck has been my daily driver for the last year and it has treated me very well. The motor runs STRONG, this is a very powerful truck All power options and everything works like it should. Power windows, Power Locks, Cruise control, electronic brake control, etc etc etc. The body has 352K but the motor & trans have 200K. I Recently put Two brand new battery's in it ($300), A Brand New heavy duty starter ($250), New Front brake pads ($60) & Rotors ($180) and a Brand new Caliper ($100) on the drivers side. This truck runs extremely well and gets great fuel mileage even when pulling a loaded car trailer, can hardly tell its back there! It is a clean truck in and out, has almost no rust. The fenders are Green from the previous owner replacing them due to the original fenders starting to rust. It never bothered me but i guess it could use a paint job due to that. The truck does need trans work & will need to be towed. I'm not sure exactly what it need's and i was told it may be as easy as a cheap sensor. But here is the story... i jumped in the truck a few weeks ago to leave home, fired it up and when i put it in gear it wouldn't move. I let it warm up about a half hour and it went in gear just fine after that, i drove it to the store (about 5 miles) returned home without any problems and parked it overnight and the next morning same thing i started it up and it would not go in gear. That's when i excepted it had an issue and i haven't touched it since. I have been kicking myself back and forth for the last couple weeks about what to do and i don't really want to sell it because i love this truck but I've decided i don't have the time or place to work on it so i think its time to move on to something else. I believe someone with a little time and know how could have this truck up and going again fairly easily as it could just be a trans sensor, and even if its the trans itself you can get one used from crazy rays for $90 bucks. This motor alone sell's for $2500+ so even if you wanted to part it out it's a great deal, the truck books for close to $7000 even with the high mileage on the body.
