Up for sale is a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT AWD. This has been an every day driver for me since I purchased it from it's previous owner in December of 2004. When I purchased this vehicle, it had 157k miles and currently it has 209k miles which honestly has been driven on the highway 90% of the time. This car has the works; Leather Interior, Power Windows, Power Seats, Power Steering, Sunroof, AWD, Cruise Control and much more. There are a few scratches and dents, which is expected from a 15 year old every day driver. It has a clean title from the State of Missouri. I moved to Salt Lake City in May of 2010 and never got it changed over to Utah. Over the past 6 years, the car hasn't needed much mechanical maintenance. The only things I've done are; change the oil, new tires, put new brakes on just before I moved to Utah, and in December of 2010, I put on new Spark Plug wires. One of the wires somehow got caught in the headers and it singed the rubber off, which resulted in the car running on 7 cylinders. Right now everything works great, there are no mechanical problems but the oil does need to be changed as the car has been sitting for a couple of months. I had a custom stereo system in it in which I pulled out and put in my new car. I did have an older radio lying around but couldn't get it working. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me. REVISION:On April 27, 2006, this vehicle was in an accident. It was in a fender bender at a red light while trying to turn right. The damage was very minor. The passenger side headlight was broken and that's all the damage that was done to the car. Since then a new headlight has been put in. If you'd like to see the damage, I have pictures of the car when the accident happened.
