Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For sale at **NO RESERVE**, 1970 Lincoln Mark III. I purchased this car at Raiders Relics in Orlando, Florida in 1987 and drove back to Columbus, Ohio. Car has always been garaged and barely driven. Mileage is original and the engine and transmission have never been apart. Even the carburetor is original and has never been rebuilt. Runs and drives well. Passenger side exhaust manifold has leak. Good tires and exhaust. Car repainted the color 4 years ago and wet sanded and buffed. Bumpers have not been rechromed and are original. Grill shell was rechromed 15 years ago. Seats , headliner, and new Calvary twill top installed 15 years ago, as well. Recently had new brakes installed and asked the shop if they could put on a NOS outside mirror I had bought on eBay. They said they could and they did, but when I got the car back, the door panel wasn’t put back on right and there were a few paint chips on the bottom of the door where it hit on the car lift post. Also the sure track brake light stays on but the brakes work fine. The rear windows will work if hooked directly to a battery but will not work thru any of the switches. The front windows work but sometimes a little slow from not being used. I had a mobile phone installed in the 80’s and the antenna is still glued to the back windows. Also Installed: New roof rail rubber sealsRear quarter window rubber sealsRear quarter window C moldingsRechromedNOS outside door handlesNOS outside mirror What Works: All GaugesFront WindowsExterior Lights WipersAntennaAM/FM RadioClock What Doesn’t Work: SeatsAC/HeatRM Blow HornRear WindowsCruise Control – Worked until recently This Mark did have some minor rust along lower lip of trunk lid and around both rear wheel wells and was repaired at the time of repaint. Frame and floors good. Drove on freeway last year to car show 120 miles away with no issues. Many thumbs up. Smooth ride. If I were to keep I would freshen up the engine and transmission because of mileage, even though it runs ok now. Car is not perfect or a 100% show car. *****This is a driver, you can use as is or take to the next level.***** I have tried to think if I have missed anything. If you have questions, please ask.
