Authentic 1956 Porsche 356A 1600 Speedster: Solid floors; excellent body gaps. Garaged California car with black license plates and zero rust anywhere. Older restoration that continues to show well. I found this car in Piedmont California, buried deep in a garage, not driven for many years. Believe it or not, this is 30 year-old paint without a single rock chip or touch-up: No signs of lifting or bubbling anywhere. We dry-ice blasted the floors to bare metal and sealed them with epoxy primer and paint, the finest rust protection process available. Please inspect the factory spot welds on the undercarriage: Note that every spot weld is visible, proving the rock-solid nature of this black-plated California Speedster. Freshly rebuilt 356A 1600s engine: Even compression; optimum oil pressure; runs crisp and powerful. Original transmission 7429, per Porsche’s Certificate of Authenticity. The official Porsche COA is on order, but Vanessa (the COA clerk) offered the following factory information by phone: 1956 356A 1600 Speedster: produced 11-28-1955; original engine 60075; original transmission 7429.
