1980 Honda Gold Wing

This is a Honda GL 1100 Goldwing Interstate that I acquired from an estate last fall. As you can see somebody before me has painted it camouflage which is unique in that it is one of a kind and won't see another just like this one. I tinkered with it as a winter project and am now offering it for sale. It does run and comes with a clear Pennsylvania title in my name.Odometer shiows 43,050 miles on it. The one thing regarding the running is that it tends to bog down and run noisy at low idle but runs fine above that so I took it to my local Honda guru and he said its the carbs being off at low settings. I did not clean the carbs or change any settings. I did put fresh gas and carb cleaner in it and drove around the country block (5 miles) and it drove and shifted just fine. The bike will need some TLC and cleaning but it is mostly all there as can be seen in the pictures. I replaced the sparkplugs, installed a new gas filter and air filter, changed the oil and new oil filter, replaced the choke cable. All three brake calipers have been gone over and cleaned and three sets of new brake pads were installed. The exhaust is nice and solid. Replaced the starter. All the lights and signals work except for the left little red rear marker light and the battery is fresh from last summer, the JVC AM/FM Cassette on top center works, I can't get the CB to come on though. The tires will neeed replaced as the tread is worn, the mirrors are rusty but can be replaced cheaply from JC Whitney, the seat is torn several places and worn, windshield is grazed. I am offering this sale as PICK-UP ONLY I cannot and will not deliver. It is also being sold AS-IS no waranty, hasnt had a state inspection recently. I require a $50 deposit at the end of auction with the balance in cash at time of pickup. I am located in south central PA the town of Etters, zip 17319 about halfway between Harrisburg and York about 2 miles off of interstate 83. There is a notary to take of the title transfer about 3 miles from my location and has hours mon-fri 9-6:30 and sat morning. To be picked in a reasonable time when schedules allow preferably within two weeks. Please if you have any questions feel free to ask and I will answer to the best of my knowledge. SOME LOOKERS HAVE QUESTIONED THE WORD MILITARY IN THE TITLE SO I AM MAKING THIS POINT CLEAR. I TRIED TO REVISE THE TITLE BUT EBAY WOULDNT LET ME SINCE IT HAD A BID ALREADY. THE WORD MILITARY WAS JUST A FILLER WORD. NOT A MILITARY BIKE... PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY !
