OK folks, this is a good example of a fun, used convertable, that is running great. The check engine light came on last summer (cam shaft position sensor), I replaced the sensor and the car runs great. The check engine light is still on and I have no idea what that's about. Whatever it is, it is has no adverse affect on the cars driveability. For its age, I believe the body is in really good condition with 2 exceptions: 1) the left rear quarter panel has a scuff, and 2) the right quarter panel has a dent (I backed into the mailbox at 5 mpg). The interior in 100% intact with 2 exceptions: 1) there is a 1" cut in the driver seat, and 2) the foot rest to the left of the clutch is cracked. The top is in great condition. I am including (2) new M style boots for the shifter and emergency brake. The rear window is clear. BMW floor mats are also included. Factory boot for the top ( as in photos) is also included. Car has an AM/FM radio and cassette player. The computer is working fine. Car is leaking nothing. I was getting 30 mpg consistently last summer. In the spirit of honesty, my feedback will attest to this, I am going to tell you everyting I know to be problematic about this car. 1. The driver side inside door handle is not working. The outside handle works, but requires a little love to do so. 2. The driver side window does not work. The OEM part to fix this will come with the car. 3. There is a leak in the AC system. Heat works fine. 4. Tires needed. 5. Body has blemishes typical for its age, but overall looks really good as the pictures show. Having said all this ,understand that I am not a car mechanic and there may be issues I am not aware of. I have stated everyting I am aware of. The car is 14 years old, so don't email me stating that there is a paint blemish 4" below the passanger side door handle that you couldn't see in the photos. I have priced this car ridiculously, especislly since it is in good running condition. It is being sold "As Is". At this price point, the car is a deal Title is clear, Car Fax is clean.
