LRA Enterprises Presents….. 1971 Ford LTD 429 Big Block 1 of 338 Made! I’m sure no one ever looked at an LTD and thought it was a muscle car. Actually when looking at this car you would see more luxury then muscle. But if you look real close the only indication of muscle is the little insignia on the fenders that reads 429 which is surrounded by checkered flags. Very few people knew when ordering this car, you could order the 429 Big Block that produced 365 horse. There were only 338 of these LTD Convertibles ever built in 1971 with this engine and trim combination, making this probably one of the rarest LTD’s on the planet. Please look at the provided Marti report to confirm production numbers. All the ingredients are there for the perfect collectible car to add to any collection. The top goes down, plus it has cold a/c, big block power and super low production numbers. Please look at all the picture of this rare classic and let us know of any questions you may have. We are here to help. Exterior: The exterior of this car is immaculate. Wearing fresh paint it shines better than new. The convertible top has been replaced and also presents very well with no rips or tears. The glass on the top is clear. All the chrome and stainless shine nicely and all glass, lights and marker lights are chip free. The car originally came with hub caps, but we liked the Magnum 500 chrome wheels better. It gives it a tougher stance. As you can see from the pictures this car is show quality. All floors and trunk are solid as is the frame. Please look at the pictures and let us know of any questions. Interior: The interior is in original condition with the exception of the door panels. They seemed to have been recovered. The dash does have some slight cracking from the sun but still presents well. But as you can see from the pictures the interior presents extremely well for its age and would stand tall at local car shows and cruise nights. All options work including the A/C. Please let us know of any questions. Drivetrain: This is where the fun starts. When you turn the key on the Ford, you hear the 429 cubic inch monster start up. It has a nice big block rumble out of the custom dual exhaust. The engine purrs nicely and is connected to a C-6 tranny that could easily roast the rear tires. This car is more than road worthy. All belts and hoses are new, the fuel pump is new and the carburetor has been rebuilt. The bushings underneath have been replaced where needed and all brakes and shock are in excellent condition. The tires are fairly new and I would feel confident that this car would make any trip. Please ask any specific questions you may have. Payment: We would ask for a $500 deposit via paypal immediately after auction ends. Full payment due within 7 days or unless previously discussed. Thank you in advance for a smooth transaction.
