Although this Chevy was helpful on the farm and useful hauling lumber around, it’s driving on “The Road” where it became a legend. . Built for the crossover needs of a truck and car, this El Camino evolved into one of the most popular muscle cars of its era. This is a true numbers matching a/c car with an unmolested, fire breathing 396 big block which became a fast front runner in performance. This SS is loaded with options as well such as rare cold blowing A/C, gauge package and automatic transmission makes this even more of a front runner in collectability. The El Camino is one of the most innovated cars Chevy ever produced and had touched upon so many different markets when it came to purchasing a new car. Nicely restored in its original butternut yellow (76) color, it shines nice and shows outstanding. The vinyl top is new and all the chrome and bright work is brilliant in its appearance and condition. The wheels are correct for the car and are detailed to perfection. The BF Goodrich tires enhance the ride’s comfort and handling. All the lights and marker lights work as they should and all glass is clear and haze free. Interior: The interior of this El Camino is in excellent, show quality condition. Coming highly optioned with the full gauge package and a/c(that blows cold), it makes this El Camino a very comfortable ride. As you can see from the pictures there are no excuses with this interior. All seats, door panels, carpets, dash, trim and headliner are in show quality condition. All the stainless and chrome as well is in excellent condition. Drivetrain: Probably one of the most legendary engines of its time, this 396 – 350 Horse Big Block is ready for show and certainly won’t hesitate to go. It is a true numbers matching car with the original protecto plate still in the glove box. Easily cooking the rear tires, this El Camino is ready to go belly up with any MOPAR or Ford. The engine is tuned and serviced and ready to drive to any show. All belts, hoses, brakes, exhaust and driving components are all road worthy. The automatic tranny shifts as it should and is ready to grip the ground with its massive torque posi rear. There will be no disappointments on the running condition of this car.
