Vehicle Detail
LRA Enterprises Presents….. 1968 Dodge Super Bee 4 Speed! The word MOPAR…..What does that really stand for? Well, when Chrysler took over Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto and Imperial, they were contracted with Motor Parts Company to make most of their mechanical parts. So because of that, the word MOPAR was derived. But to some, its MOPAR or NO CAR!! If we’re still talking about names the name Super Bee was actually describing the “B” Body designation given to the Chrysler’s midsized line. A direct cousin to the Road Runner and built from the Coronet, this Super Bee packs it all in. It’s almost like Chrysler wrote the book on how to make a true muscle car and make it fast and appealing. Every aspect of this car is so overwhelmingly appealing it literally defines a true muscle car. From the flashy looks to the sharp crisp lines to the heart thumping sound of true horsepower, this muscle car is the front runner in any collection not only in appeal, but in value. Owning a car like this is literally like owning a piece of American History. It truly embosses the muscle car error. This 1968 Dodge Super Bee holds absolutely no excuses and comes with all the goodies. The is a fresh, complete nut and bolt restoration of a real Super Bee 4 speed car. Upgraded from a factory 383 to a freshly built 440 Magnum there was no expense spared in this highly detailed beautifully restored 1968 Dodge Super Bee. Please read all about this car and let us know of any questions or concerns. We are here to help. Exterior: As you can see from the pictures, this car looks absolutely stunning. This car was certainly done right and is finished off in beautiful QQ1 Bright Blue Metallic. Looking down the sides you can see that this car is laser straight. The car is as solid as the day it was new. It is as nice as it is on top as it is on the bottom and was powder coated with conquers primer and overspray look (like they did at the factory). That’s how detailed this restoration is. I took as many pictures as I could to depict the condition and the quality of this restoration. All the chrome is brilliant, all the stainless is polished to the highest of shines. The glass is perfect and all the lights and marker lights work as they should. I can’t stress it enough, this is absolutely stunning. They say a pictures worth a thousand words, in this case maybe, but when and if you see this car up close, you’ll be speechless!!! Interior: The interior of this car is also immaculate. As tastefully done as the outside, the interior of this car is immaculate and the highest of show quality. All lights and gauges and options work as they should. There are no rips, punctures, cracks, fades or hazing anywhere and presents itself in a show quality manner. Please look at the pictures provided and let us know of any questions. Drivetrain: This finely tuned and freshly rebuilt 440 Magnum V8 runs flawlessly and sounds ungodly. Look at the detail under the hood. The time, patience and money it takes to do this type of quality restoration to some, is unfathomable. And to others, it’s a work of art. This runs, sounds and drives better than the day it came off the showroom floor. But the pure work of art is hearing the rumble come from the exhaust. Not just your cookie cutter dual exhaust sound, but your throaty, big block, cam rolling sound that stops people dead in their tracks. There’s nothing better than that sound. Every part of this drivetrain is show or go. Truly a turnkey car/restoration. In Summation: I just wanted to add a brief little statement saying this is not your normal quick, make me pretty restoration to look good on ebay. This is a true nut and bolt restoration that was just completed in 2011 and no expense was spared and certainly no short cuts were taken. This is a great addition to our museum and will be a great addition to your collection. Please ask us any questions you may have. We are here to help.
