Up for sale is my personally owned 1997 BMW 740il all black with black interior. I am relisting this vehicle due to two previous winning bidders' non payment, so please, if you bid on this vehicle please be ready to pay for it and pick it up or ship it. Additionally, the time to inspect the vehicle is not after you won the auction but before the auction is completed. I have owned this vehicle for over two years and I must say it really is a CHAMPION car and has never really let me down. The exterior of the car is pretty straight with no rust, but there are some missing moldings, and some surface scrapes and some minor dings over the vehicle. Overall though, the car looks sharp and with a nice detailing the car, will look very clean, and shine bright. The interior of the car is near flawless except for the seam in the middle of the drivers seat coming unstitched slightly. The car's engine and transmission excel and drive the way they should and accelerate and shift well with great like new power and efficiency. The car has over 200,000 miles on the body, but engine work was re-done at Habberstad BMW, and an overhaul and rebuild took place some 80,000 miles ago, so the engine has a little over 120,000 miles on it and runs like a CHAMP! The car burns no oil and leaks no oil, and the climate control systems, electronics, all pixels on the cluster, power windows, power door locks, all seat adjusters, heated seats and steering wheel, the whole sound system, the moon roof, the sunroof, and all the guages and lights work perfectly as they should. There are two next to new tires in the rear with 90% tread left and the two front tires have about 35% tread life left. The car also gets about 25 miles per gallon on the open road, and is very luxurious and roomy and can fit 5 adults very comfortably. The car really has always started and has performed admirably for me for two years, and has never re let me down. Some of the items that need to be looked at are the windshiled wipers, as they work intermittantly, and we have changed the motor on them once already. I feel confident that this car will give the new owner years of proud use and can travel anywhere in these great United States. The brakes were recently serviced and are solid all the way around, and the suspension is very tight and holds the road very very well.
