NO RESERVE SALE NICE TRUCK ORIGINAL DRIVETRAIN RUNS AND DRIVES 100% Cab corners were the only items needing replaced. The minimal rust found elsewhere was cut out and patch panels were welded in. Bottom of bed was replaced with a full sheet of 3/16” steel rather than wood. The inside steps were already repaired by previous owner and are built out of 1/4” tread plate. Yes they are stout. The engine has been rebuilt sometime but I don’t know how long ago. It starts very easily and runs great. It does not smoke, uses no oil, and has no leaks. The transmission works perfectly with no noises or gear clash, shifts smooth and does not leak. The clutch is smooth and does not slip. I’m sure it was replaced with the engine rebuild. The rear end is quiet and does not leak. The front end is tight and it drives better than any old straight axle truck I’ve ever seen. All lights and signals work. The turn signals even cancel like they should. The horn works. The wipers work. The speedometer works as does the oil pressure gauge and amp meter. The temp gauge does not move and the fuel gauge has a mind of its own. It wiggles and moves until it gets just below the empty mark and then its time for fuel. I’m sure it’s the sending unit as the dash gauge checks good. The emergency brake works as well as the heater. It has new upholstery, door weather strips, brakes, brake lines, front wheel bearings, tune up, oil change, grease job, heater core, battery, and all 4 tires. The driver’s vent window is cracked and a little cloudy. The driver’s door glass is also cracked. (see pics) WHY IT’S FOR SALE I bought this truck to put a Camaro sub frame under along with an LS3 engine-trans swap and make a pro-touring cruiser but it is just too original and nice and there are plenty of other candidates out there for me to modify. I have a good clear title in hand. I will be happy to help arrange transportation as needed.
