Up for auction is this 1936 Plymouth sedan. The chassis has been completed. The front end is a Fatman hub to hub, the rear suspension is from Chassis Engineering with lowered leaf spring kit. New gas tank installed is from Tanks. Engine is a 56 Desoto 341 hemi. List of work to engine: block cleaned and checked for cracks, line bored, decked, honed, brass freeze plugs. Crank has beaned turned to 10/10 and polished. All rods have been resized. All new bearings and pistons. The cam is a custom grind from Neilson Cams. Heads were also cleaned and checked for cracks and has new stainless steel valves, s/s seats, bronze guides, keepers, springs, locks and surface milled for truness. New high volume oil pump, double row timing chain, aluminum deep sump oil pump. New intake, carb, distributer and wires. Engine has been professionally built and balanced. Run strong and has 75 lbs of oil press at idle, and only 1 hour of run time since break-in. Transmission is from a 94 Ram truck, it has been built with heavy duty parts and shift kit with new torque converter. New 3" steel drive shaft. Rear axle is from a 70 hemi cuda, its a 8.75 742 posi unit that has been rebuilt with new clutch pack, 3:55 ring and pinion, and pinion yoke. All fluids are synthetic. Brake lines, exhaust all installed. The body is all steel with firewall installed and new floors. Parts not installed are: aluminum radiator, Kugel underdash pedal assy, Lokar shifter, electric cooling fan and remainder of AutoLoc hinden hinges and latches. The hood and running boards are missing but the rest of body parts are there. The car has been setup with a 4 degrees nose down and has the right hot rod stance. I have some misc items such as front and rear seats and extra parts. Finish the body for that custom look or rat rod. Their has been 4 years and over $25,000 invested.
