Up for Bid is a 1973 Thunderbird. This car was acquired by my family by a friend of the family who didn't want the car to go to waste - It was parked as a daily driver over 20 years ago. A tune up, fresh coat of paint, new vinyl top and headliner and a lot of well spent hours of work and life was restored to the bird. This is what I know about the car. Runs and drives wonderfully. We took it for a spin yesterday and I would personally feel good driving this car anywhere. It could easily be a daily driver. Look great, as you can see in the photos. This is a solid car with a solid body. Not patched up, just prepped, painted and revived. I would classify it as a Barn Find. AC is not working. I suspect needs a charge and check for leaks, but no guarantees. Tires are good. We mounted a good used set on the car. Should be fine for your drive home and local driving. I suggest getting a new set if youput the car on the road full time. The worst thing about the car is the bottom (base) of the driver seat (See photos). Cosmetic only. Odometer is showing around 8ok miles. I'm sure it has rolled over. So *Mileage Exempt. Local pickup - No shipping available. I don't mind meeting you within a fifty miles of my location though.
