Sweet 1991 MB. Sold new in FL. Saw maint records prior to my purchase in 2011. Found the car sitting in a garage parked for about 3 years. After purchase repaired oil leak, changed all filters and had complete service and new battery. Paint is excellent but not detailed. All doors, trunk and hood work great. Leather interior with no tears. All glass is good and all windows work. Has sunroof. No dings from doors opening on sides. Hardly any pings and no major scratches or rust. Door jams are in excellent condition with no scrapes and scuffs. Cranks and runs out excellent. Idles at 1600RPM. Cruises 60MPH at 2300RPM. All gauges work properly. Trunk is almost perfect with factory wheel, tire, jack and MB tool kit. Wood-grain on console with minor cracking. Has great A/C and Heat with new thermostat. AM/FM radio with cassette. Antenna works properly. Has great sound especially bass. Tires have less than 10,000 miles on road. All lights work and all lens are in great condition. Car is presently tagged with insurance. I have driven this car for about one year as primary transportation. Some internet sites say "If you can find this car, you should buy it". A few issues: Reverse is almost out. Will no back up after getting hot. Will back fair when it is cold if not steep. The switch to lay the driver side seat back does not work every time. The headrest for front seats will not lower every time. As pics show the rubber around the outside mirrors is cracked on both sides. The speedometer works perfect however the odometer has just stopped working in the last few days. Mileage was verified one year ago when I purchased the car and Sept. 2011 at last service. There will be less than 200 miles over the mileage shown and listed on the car. This is really one nice car. As far as I know is is all original. Runs and rides great. It is slow on acceleration as it is a 5 cylinder, but will cruise with the rest when it is up to speed. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner well kept car that is 20 years old. Great for a collector or for a every day car. Vehicle is sold as is without warranty. The car must be picked up in Hickory, NC by buyer.
