I purchased truck in 2010 I drive it very little. I had one in high school and fell in love with it when I seen it. My problem now is I dont have indoor storage for it I currently keep it in a hanger at the airport I work at. It has new tires, battery, radio, trans axles, warm up regulator, oil sending unit, front wheel bearings, shifter linkage bushings,spark plugs,and fuel filter. The truck body is Great shape no rust execpt one chip in paint on hood surface rust only.The interior is in good shape driver seat has wear on side you exit from. It is real cold natured somebody with Vw experance probally could fix that easy. When engine warms up runs like a champ. The speed odometer works but doesnt read correct about 10 mile hour slow. The main odometer doesn't work last time I posted vechile check said it had 250,000 miles I find it hard to believe. I think the brake system could use some work wheel cylinders on back could probally be changed. The A/c works still R-12 system. This truck is one to hold on to needs to be stored inside and drove on sunny days. I'm sure it will be worth alot of money one day. I have over $6000 invested in it.On Feb-24-12 at 16:04:16 PST, seller added the following information: Had some questions about the under side of truck. The bottom is solid the area around jack points the lip that sticks down from rock panel is bent on both sides. Thats because somebody has used a floor jack on them. I added some pictures to listing
