1993 Ford Thunderbird LX - 3.8L V6 with 122,718 miles. (It had a broken odometer gear for less than 5k miles, so this isn't the exact original mileage, but it is close. The gear has been replaced.) White with red interior. It was a great daily driver and could really shine with some work. I have enjoyed owning this car and I would fix it myself, as it has been a pleasure to drive, but the property management at our apartment complex won't allow auto repairs. Everything this car needs to be a good daily driver again could be done at home by someone who is handy with cars. - Car has a good engine with a top-end rebuild a few thousand miles ago. - Factory aluminum alloy wheels, and good tires that should have at least 30-40k miles left on them. - Cold, working AC and an awesome climate control system - with the right setting, it never needs to be fiddled with. - Good working sound system with Pioneer 3-way speakers. - Leather/cloth upholstery (leather in areas where cloth would wear out and cloth toward the middle, where you'd get burned by leather on hot days) - All four brake lines have been replaced within about the past few years. - Clean title The driver's side ball joint was replaced very recently, but the passenger side ball joint has never been replaced. While it is not currently causing any problems for the driveablity of the car, I would advise replacing it soon. Otherwise, it would also need some additional steering and suspension work if you want it to drive smoother and quieter. Brakes are due for service, but are currently working. Driver's side catalytic converter has a loose screen, so it makes noise at some speeds. Both automatic windows are also currently non-functional. The motors seem to work, but one of the plastic gears is most likely out on each side. This is a reasonably cheap repair, but requires a bit of time and the space to work. Cosmetically, the car is in pretty good shape - there's a small dent in the driver's side fender, but the car is otherwise dent-free and shines nicely when it's clean with a fresh coat of wax. Registration and inspection are currently expired. Bonus Extras - Ford 1994 Audio and Cellular Diagnostic Manual included (wiring and color codes almost completely match) - A pair of factory Ford JBL amps (could be used in an upgrade if desired) - Old alternator included (core bad, but voltage regulator should still be good) Payment and Legal A deposit of $200 will be required within 48 hours of the auction's end, or at auction closing if buy-it-now is used. Full payment of the remaining balance will be required within 10 calendar days of auction closing. I will accompany the buyer to the appropriate local facility to transfer the title before pickup. Pickup will be required within 14 calendar days of auction's end. This sale will happen in this order: payment, title transfer, pickup. Failure to make payment before showing up to pick up the car, or failure to make arrangements with me to transfer the title during business hours of the appropriate facility will result in refusal (at that time) to hand over the keys and title. My refusal to complete the transaction if the buyer (you) has not paid or has not successfully participated in completing the title transfer will not release the buyer from any obligation to complete the transaction. The transaction will only be completed after payment and title transfer have been completed. Additionally, this car is being sold AS-IS.
