Vehicle Detail
This 1968 Dodge Charger is a great restoration candidate with many extras. The following are included with the sale of this vehicle: Two 727 transmissions (both working when taken out) one original to the car, the other from an early 70's Chrysler donor. A practically new Holly 600 carb w/ an Edelbrock "Torker" 383 intake manifold. A pair of chrome valve covers. A pair of complete headers (rusty). A 355:1 posi rear (original to the car!). All stainless trim is included with the exception of the rear window trim, drivers side front fender, and roof rails and also the tach is missing. The aluminum mag wheels shown are included (15"back and 14" front) as well as the original rally style wheels with trim rings pictured separately. A full size spare, holding air. A never installed black vinyl top (like new) is also included. In the picture of the vinyl top you will also see the back glass. There is no motor with this car and was originally a 383 magnum. Car was originally yellow with black vinyl top. The car was highly optioned from the factory including 11" brakes, heavy duty torsion bar and springs, dual exhaust, and as stated previously the 355:1 posi rear. The car is in need of a TOTAL restoration. The good news is that just about every part is available (body panels, mechanical, etc.). The pictures explain a lot about the condition of this vehicle, if you are in need of any specific info regarding it's condition, don't hesitate to ask. The odometer shows 59K but very well could be 159K. If you would like to see the car in person it can be arranged, but needs to be done before auction close. The car is being sold as is. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due within 24hours of auction's close. Feel free to contact me with any questions at all. Happy biddingOn Feb-21-12 at 17:58:33 PST, seller added the following information:Hello all, I wanted to give an update regarding some research we've done. The previous owner had told us that the car had it's original 3.55 posi rear. We went to verify this and after many trials we cited that in actuality the rear is a 3.23 posi (sure grip). Also, after looking closely at the trim tag we cannot verify that this rear is original to the car. Sorry for any confusion this causes. Thank you
