Up for sale is this freshly restored 1968 Ford Bronco. This is a true second owner vehicle that has spent its’ entire life in the dry Colorado climate. Just completed a thorough restoration(less than 2000 miles). Although, there is snow in the photos this vehicle is garage kept, but kind of hard to photograph a vehicle this time of year without snow in the picture. The amount of new parts on this Bronco is staggering. I will try and capture the high lights, but there is too much to list. First let’s start with body and interior. Bronco has new paint (two part base coat/clear, blue and white urethane), Fender flares, removable billet door hinges and gas shocks for hood opening. Check out the bumpers in the photos, these are brand new and were powder coated. The rear bumper has the swing out tire rack with a full size spare. The interior is completely redone throughout (done in the original style, two tone), 6 point cage, auto meter gauges flush mounted in dash. All window and door track mechanisms completely rebuilt with new glass installed and new weather stripping. This truck also has new dual fuel tanks. The mechanical part of this Bronco is the true highlight. The motor is a 347 stroker, but this one was built right with 4340 forged crank, 4340 “I” beam rods and forged pistons 10.4:1, fully balanced with new harmonic balancer, flywheel and block main girdle. The camshaft is a Ford racing hydraulic roller cam .542 lift 286 duration, and double row timing chain. The motor is topped off with Patriot aluminum cylinder heads, hardened push rods and comp cam stainless roller rockers. Motor also has new high volume oil pump, new 7 qt oil pan. Hooker headers, polished intake, Holley 750 cfm carburetor, Lokar accelerator pedal and aluminum radiator. The Edelbrock fuel pump, high flow water pump, alternator, power steering pump, and battery are all new. The exhaust is a new custom 2 ½ inch system. Drive train in the bronco reads as follows; rear end is a ford 9 inch with new posi unit and new gears 4:10 ratio. Of course all bearings, seals and brakes are new. The front has been completely rebuilt and upgraded with a new Richman Tru-Trac posi unit, new gears, new kingpins, new bearing and seals. The front has also been upgraded with disc brakes, Warn lock out hubs and power steering. All shocks and the 5 tires are brand new (tires are 33-12.5x15). The transmission is the ford three speed that has been completely gone through. With the sale of this Bronco is a new NV3550 five speed with shifter recently purchased for this Bronco, this is the popular upgrade for these Broncos. The transfer case is also recently rebuilt.
