1964 FALCON CONVERTIBLE I am selling this car for a friend of mine at work. The following is what I know about the car. This is an original owner California black plate vehicle!! The car has been in California its entire life!! It was originally a 6cyl car however now has a V8. Date code on block shows a 302 however I have not confirmed this. (May be a 289) The car currently DOES NOT RUN. I have done a compression check and will require a head job since some cylinders are very low on compression. Here are the numbers off the body: Body: 76A Color: D Trim: 67 Date: 27A DSO: 72 The rear end has been changed to a 5 bolt pattern in the past and still has the 4 lug front. The car is complete including all chrome except the rock shield just above the front bumper. I have purchased a brand new gas tank that is included with the car that is still in the box!! I have also purchased a new hood emblem that is included. This is a VERY nice car to start with if you want an older convertible. Paint will need to be addressed since it has some scratching and is faded. Chrome is all there however has some pitting. Will need to be replaced or chromed to be perfect. I tried the electric top and it is working. Owner wanted to restore this car however due to recent illness she has decided to sell. Car is FOR SALE LOCALLY so I have the right to cancel auction at any time as long as the reserve has not yet been met. Please don’t waste my time or yours as your bid is for purchase of the car. The car has been non op'ed so the original plates can be used if you are in CA. I have included more pictures of under the car. I put a picture of surface rust on rear wheel well, this is surface rust and car has NO rust holes. I have included a few more pictures of the newer rear end. I have tried to describe the car the best I can, it was stored in a car port for many years and has been out at my location for about a year.
